What does the job include?

As an Account Manager at OFoundation, you will play a pivotal role in managing our e-commerce operations in China, ensuring the achievement of short and long-term objectives, customer satisfaction, and overall marketplace performance. You will oversee a team remotely, manage sales, restock and shipments, and coordinate various aspects of e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce marketplace in China, including customer service, updates, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of employees, including designers, customer service representatives, and video editors/makers, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve marketplace objectives, including sales targets, customer metrics, and overall performance goals.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), develop reports, and implement reporting formats to track progress and results.
  • Oversee the restock and shipment processes, ensuring timely replenishment of inventory and efficient order fulfilment.
  1. Merchandising:
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies to enhance the visibility and appeal of products on the marketplace.
  • Plan and implement promotions to maximize sales and drive growth.
  • Ensure that product listings, descriptions, and metadata are optimized to maximize traffic and enhance search engine visibility.
  1. Relationship Management:
  • Manage relationships with digital agencies and external third parties involved in e-commerce operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute digital merchandising, design, and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and engage with potential partners and customers to expand the company's network and reach.
  1. Buying:
  • Develop and implement assortment and inventory plans to align with sales targets and market demand.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for new marketplace channels and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, making data-driven decisions to optimize assortment and inventory management.
  1. Leadership and Development:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategies to achieve company goals, establish effective decision-making processes, and contribute to the overall development and management of the company.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in e-commerce and related fields.
  1. Restock Shipments:
  • Lead the restocking and shipment processes, ensuring timely replenishment of inventory and efficient order fulfilment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to manage inventory levels and ensure availability of products for sale.
  • Monitor stock levels, sales trends, and customer demand to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts.
  • Implement strategies to streamline the restocking and shipment processes, reducing lead times and improving efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan inventory purchases, and allocate resources effectively.


  • Available to work full-time for the duration of the 2-year contract.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Relevant industry experience in e-commerce, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of product development, innovation, and financial principles.
  • Execution-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.



    6 Months internship, full time, with flexible starting dates based on your university’s schedule. Our compensation is 100  Euro per month but we are a registered Erasmus+ organization and all interns in Europe can apply for the highest monthly grant through their University.
